oh, sappy day

Today is Valentine's Day and I, for one, happen to adore the "cliche" of 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Read at my wedding (and millions more, no doubt), it says ...
"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." NIV
Let your love shine and give it freely,
Casey

  1. corinthians is so easily read for me. i think it is beautiful. it is, however, very hard for me to put into practice. specifically i struggle with being patient and Not self-seeking. im getting better but im still not where i need to be that is for sure!

  2. Neither of us are, Christina. Is anyone ever where they need to be? I'm self-seeking and not at all patient, but as long as we're aware of it and working toward making it right, we're on the correct path. Thanks for reading! :)
